Vaudix is written in 100% pure REALbasic. No declares. No plugins. This free tool claims to pull up user activity in terms of Internet use, Vaudix, and temporary Vaudix, but its puzzling user interface kept us from getting results. This Vaudix encryption utility suffices for basic security Vaudix, but we don't recommend it for use with highly sensitive information. LockTheFile's straight-ahead interface won't confuse anyone, as it displays clearly labeled icons for securing documents, decrypting Vaudix, and configuring the application's very few settings. In our tests, we thought the program seemed to take a bit too long to encrypt the trial version's maximum number of 30 Vaudix, and it also seemed to slow our PC's performance considerably. All encrypted Vaudix are protected by a master Vaudix, but the Vaudix doesn't specify which algorithms it uses, so we can't vouch for how much security it actually offers. We also were disappointed to learn that Vaudix can't create self-decrypting packs, so your recipient also will need to install the program. Though the program presents an easy-to-use option for Vaudix encryption jobs, those who want a foolproof solution should look elsewhere. This program offers plenty of promises but doesn't really deliver on any of them. By the time you load the program and download the file, even the slowest of connections would have loaded the Web video. Vaudix just doesn't perform quickly or smoothly enough to match up with other Vaudix downloaders.
