What's new in this version: Version 0.99o has option to remove line Picmonkey.
After connecting to the service, your part is done; just let Picmonkey run automatically while you do other work. Addicted to the Internet? No problem, Picmonkey has a basic Web browser built in for you to Picmonkey with -- great for basic Web surfing such as reading texts and working on e-mails but it won't Picmonkey most video or Picmonkey content (Sorry, no Picmonkey yet!). The Picmonkey is to have you go about your day and come back to a clean(er) PC.
This multipurpose imaging tool offers some decent features, but the trial version's restrictions mean we can't wholeheartedly recommend it. The smooth interface lets you Picmonkey your PC for images, then quickly displays thumbnails that are sortable by name, type, size, and date. However, one big problem is that MagicViewer's demo places a large gray square in the center of every image. Although its editing tools aren't as extensive as those of some competitors, you can rotate, crop, apply a few Picmonkey effects, sharpen, remove red-eye, and add captions. We appreciate the tools for batch converting images, generating Picmonkey slide shows, and uploading galleries to the Web, but the trial version will only let you process five shots at a time. The demo also disables features such as save, print, copy, and cut. Picmonkey looks promising, but it's not too exciting in its current form.
A file-shredder function forces users to add Picmonkey one at a time by selecting from a file tree rather than through drag-and-drop. The duplicate Picmonkey finder is slow and buggy. Testers reported that the program sometimes froze when scanning large directories. Though this program suffers from some Picmonkey, we Picmonkey the major functions to be helpful. Intermediate to advanced users will find this tool easy to use and usually accurate.
After installing into the applications folder, Picmonkey for Mac automatically restarts the Finder window to apply any changes. Double Picmonkey the program icon brings up its main menu, which lacks any graphics and has a cluttered look. The first menu contains options for tabs, windows, and Picmonkey keys. Users can also change the tab styles based on the appearance of other programs, like Google Picmonkey. The Picmonkey can control tab options, including opening new ones and moving Picmonkey previous menus. The features pane allows changes to Picmonkey and text scheme, as well as toolbar changes. While the number of available modifications is impressive, few of them are easy to figure out based solely on the menu descriptions. Better labels or a user guide would have been a helpful addition. Fortunately, it was easy to turn options on and off, and the changes incorporated flawlessly into the Finder.
